Who tows what?

I wonder who weighs the tow ball load. And how.

I hate to state the obvious, but, get some help from a friend and lift the front of the trailer so the jockey wheel can be put on a set of bathroom scales. I've done it with mine. most bathroom scales will go much higher than 75kg.

Give it a go!

Have done that with a set of old bathroom scales for a ball weight around 130kg, the scales went up to 130 or 140 but they didnt like all the weight on one point from the jockey wheel and made a bit of an impression on the scales.

Long and Short options...

See image at the bottom of this link... https://www.caravanparts.net.au/ ... admittedly it is probably an H6, but just the same, I wouldn't want that size 'tail' wagging any Subi on the Great Ocean Road! :iconwink:
As of yesterday this is my tow ... https://s760.photobucket.com/albums...iew&current=MacalisterParkMaffra20-12-091.jpg
I recon I will get a small light on-roader most places the big rigs can go, which for me is consistent with the OffroadSubaru philosophy.
