Snatch strap

Dicknoses advice is spot on ...my tow rope is a snatch strap just because it'll absorb the otherwise violent jolts and jerks that stress a monocoque body - i 've had experience with a Holden Commodore - hey why wont that door stay closed!!

So however you choose to recover your pride & joy ..... easy does it!

what's an Equaliser Strap ?

but don't use a shackle (like in the photo) to connect to your tow/snatch rope. I was rescued by a Land Rover - no shame in that !!!

this question mite start a riot but what is the best snatch for value? thers a fair few out there, id just like to get the best one for me, well wat do yous all have?

Just thought Id post a vid of how not to do it...
if you think tie-down hooks arent up to a snatch, try this technique

That video is old but funny. I wonder why they pulled the car over a snowbank to begin with???
And where the heck did they put that tow rope?
I think their brains has fallen out of their heads 10min before trying

I remember seeing it some where a while ago.
Yes it is a classic & one of the best of how ''not to do'' I think I've seen.

You're not wrong about that.

How do you use it? just thread it through the eye of the snatch strap?

Supercheap has a sale on tree trunk protectors with 6500kg breaking strain for $30. Is this a good buy?

Yes that's the way you use it. :)

Never ever use a shackle to join them together (or multiple snatch straps either for that matter)
