SK Forester on Fraser Island

Hey everyone,
Has anyone taken their SK to Fraser Island? We are looking to take ours. Getting a sump/cvt guard and probably an SLO 2" lift kit.

I meant to add my earlier response to Joel's question that he originally sent via PM
"I'd say it would definitely be OK on the beaches but probably needs a lift for the inland tracks. The SK has a lot more traction control ability than our older Fozzies and they had no problems on Fraser."

The only problems I encountered on Fraser were the bloody big 4WD tour buses coming down the well rutted tracks and completely ignoring the usual courtesy rule of give way to the upcoming vehicle. Not easy starting off from a stop off the sandy track side on an uphill slope........
