New laws governing raised and lowered vehicles!

Haven't heard anything along those lines and don't really see how it'd work. Every model car is different so you wouldn't be able to just have a generic box to plug in. The way the rules read is that they can't be modified period, not even via an engineers certificate.

The 4WD Association has just a statement requesting your assistance with a survey.

I strongly encourage you to fill it out and forward on the link to as many friends and family that have a 4WD as possible.
The data they will get will show our lovely government that we are not hoons and a force to be reckoned with.

Vehicle Survey

As previously advised the Association is in
discussion with the RTA over vehicle
modifications covered under VSI50

In any discussion it is important to have good
information to support a case and 4WDNSW&ACT is
looking to build a database of information around
vehicle modifications. Chris Tierney in
conjunction with other members of the 4WDNSW&ACT
VSI 50 Working Party has designed a survey which
we are looking to distribute widely to ensure we
have the best available data for VSI 50
discussions so we ensure your interests are well
represented. The data may also be used in other
discussions

It would be appreciated if you would click on the
link below and complete the survey. It will take
less than 5 minutes and the information will be
invaluable

Information collected in the survey will be
consolidated and presented as statistics as
needed in our negotiations.

If you have already responded to the Victorian
Association version of the survey please respond
again, we want a complete picture for the VSI 50
Working Group.

Please distribute to other clubs and individuals
who you believe may be interested so they can
help us build our database. VSI 50 may impact
anyone who drives a 4WD. If you are not in a club
leave the club field blank

Thank you for your Support

Hoon is a derogatory term used in Australia and New Zealand to refer to a person who engages in loutish, anti-social behaviour. In particular, it is used to refer to one who drives in a manner which is anti-social by the standards of contemporary society, that is, fast, noisily or dangerously.

A Larrikin doesn't realise the harm he causes, a Bogan doesn't care about the harm he causes, a Hoon is a Bogan with a car! :raspberry:
