Many people make these things political, when they are not.

Taking care of our world is just sensible, not political.

Education is always good.

IMNSHO extremism of all stripes is bad.

It's really not hard, but our species really seems to make lots of things hard when they aren't.

The one thing that bugs me is when people call me a greenie. I don't align myself with left nor right.

Greenie? Nope. I bet the ones who attacked you in your job are similar to the ones who protest against mining with their souped up 4x4s.

You are not a greenie but a visionary. You just see further and in a larger scale, whereas most humans see mesocopically only. Nature heals itself so you are helping save humans from nature's wrath and actually doing the bogans a favour.

I have a mortgage and a child and I haven't been able to function correctly for over a year. It has broken me.

Well, you're still here and, as they say, anything that doesn't destroy you makes you strong. You will be able to get through this.
