hey everyone

Im new here. Thought I'd start a thread for anyone new to AWD vehicles and safe tracks.

I've already done the following

- Colo and Wheeny Creek
- Yengo National Park
- Kings Tableland Road
- Wattigan National Park (not the tracks)

Tomorrow I'm going to Putty to try Bakers Road and Mellong Road. Apparently its AWD friendly.

I don't suppose you've got maps of them?
Not that I'll be going anywhere near them probably, but I like maps. and they would be excellent resources for, well, everyone!

Or you could get really carried away, plot them via GPS and throw them up on Open Street Map for the world to see! I've done this up here in FNQ. You can see them on Google maps, but takes a bit of time to flow through.
I use Mapfactor Navigator on Android to do it, but there's heaps of apps. Converting the data onto Open Street Map is a bit time consuming, but pretty satisfying.

(edit: Gramma told me too ;) <- did you see what I did there?)

Wheeney Creek then Colo. Forget the random straight line, take that white road up above!

Yengo National Park. When you're in unfenced areas...watch out for horses, cows and goats. Its unfenced so watch yourself and be safe and protect our animals.

Wattigan National Park.

Enjoy the trip...but plenty of dips in the road so drive slow. Heaps of dirt bikes too, tight corners so watch yourself and stay safe.

The Yengo National park route was amazing. I didnt take the boat but went around Mooney Mooney as you can see. Amazing river drive, smooth black top. Watch out for bikes etc. Drive safe and enjoy the scenary

Just downloaded a couple of those apps. Will play around.

Photos won't upload here as they're too large. Check out my instagram - bluesubaruoz

Did Bakers road today. National Park is closed but you can get half alway up bakers road. Really peaceful country trip. Lots of country homes, wild life, open country. Slow drive, small roads, watch out for wild life. Track is definitely minimum AWD. X Mode was awesome and did most of the work

can you link from instagram using the picture embedding code? Not a user of instagram, so not really sure how it works in that respect.
will check it out. :)

Some sweet pictures there, by the way.
I signed up to instagram for you!

Ahhh so links work. But it means individual links which might take time. Does this forum have larger server size for photos? Every photo I tried to upload said the file was too big. Either way, check out my insta for the photos all the same.

I saw you signed up. Thanks! Everyone should get their own page

Sure, Upgrade! Something I should really do, starting to feel guilty about it. I use Imgur (have been for years) and just embed them. :)
