SG central locking driver’s actuator

Hmmm... dunno if I’ll be able to do this with a 2002 Foz loom I just cut down. Would be good to have that feature though - I’ll just have to plan not to ever loose the key!

I’d be keen to hear from someone that completed this process successfully.

Cheers

@El_Freddo Bennie, it would make a lot more sense to do this using a Scantool or keypad!

One has to use a similar method to get into the service screens of most digital cameras. It's very easy to make a mistake!

Decades ago my dad told me the reason for not unlocking all doors from the driver's lock (manually) at the same time helped prevent strangers getting in. This was particularly true in the dark and you couldn't make it out if someone was hiding.

You could unlock and lock with a remote very quickly. Trying to relock the car in a hurry with a key, not so much.

A good idea as an chooseable option nowadays.

I don’t see why Subaru couldn’t do what Holden did with their commodores - one button press to unlock the driver’s door and either a long hold of the same button press to open everything else or a quick-succession press to unlock everything else.

On my MIL’s SG, it’s frustrating that only the driver’s door opens or locks via the key pad. Looks like I can’t do anything about it either.

Cheers

Hmmm. I’ll have to double check this then!

Thanks!
