Hello all😎 Long travel suspension 2016 Crosstrek?

just those newer cars is not same in rear at least as your older foresters. they dont like being long travel at all. so you all made right choices to go with older models there. Just i wouldnt sugest doing that to newer models at all. too much things that wont work there on stock form. Or am i wrong and those suspensions just made for long travel there ? old forester rear links are just perfect to go up and down in straight line. its great and simple.
so im seeing how long travel struts wouldnt work for me at all , just no point really. i still got all drop down movement there, thats all i need, so its not going so much up ? well it kind does. just do all on slow speeds.
just so many people bying some stuff for their cars that is ..hmm kinda not needed, just because they dont understand it.

That would be me 😁

and im sorry for being harsh or talking where nobody asks my opinion sure, sorry fot that, but subaru just made those new cars more and more city cars and its sad to see them like that. i wish i had in my rear that old forester subframe with equal lenght links.
and would be nice to see then more pics here of something that could be done on that car or something about that suspension maybe i would learn then one or two new things as well. :)

Can't hurt my feelings 🤣

look those crosstreks doing such a good job there off road in stock lol. they at least should give it a lift, and if your tires not made for that surface then at least air them down not just make fun from poor thing hehe

i think you should just enjoy your car lifted out here, as your VDC and x mode will make all just simple pass. as i learned VDC is amazing.

but I'd be surprised if you find any options for under or even close to $1000. If you decide to go the coilover route you'd contact Hotbits to see if they will make coilovers for XV
Last price I had from hotbits for longtravel coilovers was US$1500 for a set of 4 + US$250 shipping to OZ. That's a couple of years ago and for an SVX though, so not double wishbone.

I know, but if ya have the chance to make it better. Ya gotta
Go the Supercharger!

Ok that's to much, no more power needed. I will get another muscle car if it's necessary. But HP= trouble and tickets. 😁😅

(y)
I doubt anything will turn an Crosstrek/XV into a muscle car. :ROFLMAO:

What you saying no more power , all need more power. I would love to put charger or turbo on mine. Just imagine you flying in that trail on high speed.

Don't get me wrong, I love HP. But I'm pretty sure these won't hold together long with supercharged engines and high HP. I love the reliable aspect of it the way it sits. You'd go so fast you wouldn't know there was a trail. Be a blur of green and a ton of dust.and probably a trail of parts.🤣😂
