Eggs offroad foz

Purchased the car just before christmas last year. Obviously planning for the full offroad-overland kit out. So far ive only got the rhino roof racks which i scored for $150 and today i just relocated the ECU and put in a UHF.Super excited for next week. Going to be gooooooood. Also quick question, can i fit 215/65/r16 without lift kit

I reckon you'll fit those without a lift no problems at all, after all the tyre is only about 15mm bigger in radius...
what UHF did you get? Looks like it's a nice fit.

i got the UHF300 and yeah man, bloody oath shes a tight fit. Not even screwed in its that poop, she aint going anywhere

215/70 16 fits with just a little rubbing when tyres are new.

Got my new tires BFG KO2 215/65/r16 on Forester Steel rims and managed to pickup a Bash plate from David Wilson. Unforunately i couldnt get one of the driveshaft bolts loose so i could drop the diff and the method that is posted on this page somewhere is missing the pictures on how to do it without dropping the diff. So i will have to work out a way to that. At the moment just drilling a whole seems to be only option. Ive never cursed at a bolt so much in my life

What height did you go for the kit?

Have fun and take it slowly!

luv yeah boys! Smashed it. Learnt a few things and burnt some clutch. I want lower low range gears though lol

Before making your Forester a monster off road, I would suggest to drive it on "easy" obstacles first so you can improve your off road driving skills. A Subaru is not a hardcore 4x4, you have to treat it with love and care !

i dont plan on going monster offroad with the foz and i dont plan on going on such a steep grade again. My first offroad experience behind the wheel and i was with, it would seem, with a merc off road group. Having lower low range gears is just something that would be nice to have to make the forester even more capable than it already is

Need to rollout with some other Subies on the tracks but this damn virus is freaking everyone out

Yes it will certainly interrupt our lives!

but you dont need to touch others drivers to have fun with them, you can allways shout trough window lol or just use radio, phone apps for comunication
