2019 Forester

My next vehicle will be electric. I may actually have to wait for the implementation of Toyota's solid-state battery, which has a huge chance of being in Subarus of the future. There is the current e-boxer which many are waiting for next year but I am OK to wait for a proper Subaru EV. I truly like their symmetry and safety philosophies.

You've already got an electric vehicle! Just pull the spark plugs out and crank it in gear

There's the current e-boxer which many have been waiting for and it's already been released in Japan and I've seen some videos of it already but, at the moment, my SG is just what I need.

I just passed one. I came up behind it at a set of lights. At first glance I thought it was an outback. Then I saw the badge. The front you would struggle to differentiate it from the SJ, at least when driving and you learn to spot the differences more easily. No big steps in the styling at least

Many are forecasting that their US sales for the first year will break their all-time record.

I can only imagine the torsional rigidity of the SK. The difference in rigidity between the SG and the SJ is already miles apart.

I have only seen them in person when I bought an AT filter from the dealer. They look just a bit longer than the SJ but the difference in size is somewhat insignificant for me.

Park an SF next to it. That will give an indication of how far Subaru have strayed

Haha, true. The first 2 gens were technically just lifted Imprezas. They started inflating from the SH on.

In couple years we should have electric suvs all over andnsubaru will be forced go there as well.
But real electric 4x4 would be more interesting. All that torque would do amazing things.
As for this forester would be interesting to see it lifted with AT tires. Ascent allready have lift kit and it looks rly good with right wheels

We’re not there yet. In time we probably will be. How long will that technology (battery) last till it’s replaced by something more environmentally friendly is another matter. For now, as long as 98 and diesel are readily available and no less affordable, I’ll stick to what I have.

Damn, I meant SH in my previous post!! But I’d probably stick with the EJ253 because I know more about this engine over the FB - and the only examples of the FBs I’ve seen all seem to have oil burning issues

The SGs are good and they’re certainly a candidate against the SH - but I still can’t give up the L series yet!

Cheers

Bennie
