G'day all
Have a low km motor & gearbox to put into my 2004 forester.
Have replaced motors before but not both.
Is it easier to pull the gearbox out with the motor or best to do motor then gearbox?
Is it best to pull the driveshafts out completely?
Thanks

If you can coordinate it (ie: lift the chassis), its actually easier to unbolt the rear driveshaft, suspension components and subframe, and wheel the whole lot out from underneath.

Thanks duncanm
Lifting the chassis isn't really an option. I've only got an engine crane.
