this it what helps them change direction nicely.
Any axle that is "driven" will have a natural tendency to toe-in under thrust.
So if your alignment already has toe-in when static, you get even more when the car is being driven, this makes all 4 wheels want to turn towards each other and make the thing drive straight., but it makes it a pig to turn.
when you are off throttle just before a corner, the front wheels will toe out a little, which helps the car turn in when you give it some steering angle (it acts like you've used more brake on the inside wheel)
