Someone to work on my car??

Looks like I'm gonna have to make them myself
You are a welder so you should be fine and that way you'll get exactly what you wanted.

What about snorkles? I've been trying for a month nearly, but no one wants a bar of it!

I believe there is a pajero? snorkel that is close to fitting that just needs to be bended slightly and mounted.

Snorkel is NH-NK 90-97 Mitsi Pajero which you need to bend to fit the Foz by using a heat gun & cold water.

DIY Snorkel Installation
As for snorkels, they're the easier of the things to do.
Yes the Pajero NH-NK 90-97 would be the closest fit & it's also the one that I used.
It should also fit better on your Forry (without bending/modding) as the "A" Pillar is slightly different on your model compared to mine.

Mr Turbo

Opposite lock in midland are willing to fit a snorkle for $1200, I may be doing more mods than I'd prefer

Just do the snorkel yourself, its only $100-120 from ebay & easy to do if you're handy with tools, which it sounds like you are.

TJM will have stores in Perth so you wont have to pay for shipping, they seem to be every bit as good as SubaXtreme & of course are ADR compliant.

You're only prob is the rear bar. Talk to Taza, he started doing one & may be able to give you some tips

Do TJM still make SF bars?
Tazas rear bar hasn't progressed as of yet.

@Twink if TJM do make bars that could be the way to go. Tazas bar is a TJM. Great bar and not as many around as subaextreme or irvin so a bit unique too. Looks nice, maybe a bit more agricultural but who cares its a bar. IMO the best bar for an SF.

Thanks for all the suggested bars guys, but I would really appreciate it if someone could point me towards a shop that could work on my car

You need to be looking for a custom fabrication shop, not a regular 4WD accessory supplier or mechanic. All they have experience with is fitting off the shelf parts for people with wads of cash.

A fab shop should have experience doing all sorts of funky stuff and be perfectly happy to do some cool bar work for your Forester.

Just doing a quick googlez:

Thanks man, have you had any dealings with them?

No sorry mate I'm over in Melbourne so can't give a personal recommendation, just been looking for similar services myself over my way though.

I wouldn't be building a custom front bar when it won't be airbag compliment. Plus cuatom fab work is very expensive, probably more so than off the shelf stuff.
