WA Camp Yeagarup

Okay! My turn to post pics and the awaited video clip compilation.

The damage incurred to my wagon was:
- Cut up tyres when the susp bottomed out thus hitting the guards on black pt rd
- Multigrip bent guards to prevent tyre damage
- Oil cap went missing on the last day
- Bashplate bent
- Brake fluid running low which isnt really damage
- UHF unit is now taped to the dash

Here's the video:

And now for the pics!

Well, at least your one step ahead of me with the sumpguard haha!

Great pictures and video TI! Like the ones with the semitrailer behind!

Those tyres look big on the little L!
may I ask what size you're running and if its been lifted?

Haha yeah. 195/70r14 and it hasnt been lifted, still running the original springs aswell! The tyres only contact offroad under full compression but now they just flex the guard instead of being cut up. And the passenger front tyre scrapes a lil on the mudflap bolt when turning right and accelerating from a stop.

Genuine Subaru clips and brackets for $18 and it looks as good as new ... well, if you ignore the big dent, but someone else did that.

I'm happy again:)

Fingers crossed that its not too expensive for you

Twinklz was doing alright until a bloody "Soccer Mums car" got in his way.

What an idiot. Typical 4WD mentality, just pull out without looking...

But unfortunately, while I was bogged the ranger came to tell us of for taking inadequate vehicles into the area. Luckily, he also gave us a list of other tracks that he thought we couldn't go down, which gave us more places to go during the next few days:lol:

Geez :shake: I hope "he" gets stuck or bogged on one of "those" tracks
Then one of you guys (Subi's) rescue him :rotfl:

Haha yeah I hope he does lol :rotfl:

At least he was kind enough to give you a list of tracks you should try :monkeydance:

The land rover was kind enough to pull me down the hill after he got in my way :-\

The Land Rover guy wasn't toooo bad.
Who was fair dinkum bad was a Hilux i think and another full sized 4x4 in convoy that came head on on Black Point Rd. We were heading to Black Point and were on a pretty soft section and i was leading. These two vehicles didnt even slow down and made Twinkles and i slow and stop as they swerved around us out of the ruts and kept on going without even a wave or anything.
I drove out but Twinkles went straight down, that recovery is in the video compilation haha.
Red was fine cos he was further back.

Great pictures and video TI! Like the ones with the semitrailer behind!

Yes me too. That semi one is a beauty, so too with all the others :raz:
Great report too I have to say, well done.

There are a few pics I like to make into banners too, provided thats ok with you guys.

Regards
Mr Turbo

I'd love to see the Red XS on a banner!

All in all, I'm very happy with our trip and would love to do another trip like that later in the year.
