The bad:
Every thing inside is covered in burger and coke grime and every panel bar one is dented, just shy of 200K on the clock so major service due.

The good:
Under the rank seat covers, floor mats and dash mat it's very well preserved.
LSD and gearbox work flawlessly and the 1.6 engine is willing. New vinyl roof means I can see out of the rear window which is a bonus. The suspension is adjustable in every way imaginable.

What's a hairdressers car without a hair dryer.

Funny you should post those pics, I just fitted oversize tyres and I'm planing for a bash plate for the front so it can do lancelin and wedge.

It's my brother in laws and we had agreed it was worth $2000 but my wife says I have to pay more for it. They go for 5K in good nick and there has to be more than 3K in repairs needed to get it saleable.

What do you guys think?

$2000 is all it's worth. The Commodore ute is worth about the same! **** boxes they are!!

Don't offroad the MX5 unless you are going all out like the ones in the pics  :lildevil:  Make it a road/drift car  That's what they are designed for

You bringing the MX5 down to RSR's old shop tomorrow..?

Yeah I'll drive it to Paul's. I give it a run once a week to keep the battery charged.

You're just scared ill have to recover your forester with it on the beach.

Pfffft, recover my Foz??!@? Once I get the EJ25 in there you'll be the one who needs recovering, I have unlimited clearance. Especially compared to the MX5 :P

I reckon it'd make a sweet sleeper/homo drift car. lol

I'm on the look out for 2 pink mesh shirts and some chaps.

Guess how much fun it was today taking two tyres to be changed then swapping front to rear with only a scissor jack.

So what's the story with that maloo ute and the tree??

Cheers

Bennie

It got in the way while I was trying to take a photo of my pride and joy.

I was on my way home from work and there it was at about 7am. Missed it by seconds as the rad was still letting off steam.

Not sure if it was stolen or not, either way the driver and friend legged it.

Silly me called the cops first before taking any pics and missed the good shots.

Mrom the steering angle on the Malloo it looks like he was 'hanging' a fast "U" turn and miss judged the turning circle.
Idiot! That would 'never' happen if going too fast in an unfamiliar -'stoen'? - car, would it...!

From the pics posted, it looks like a pigsty, inside and out.

$2,000 is way over the odds IMNSHO.

$1,000 is still being overly generous ...

Pay out the rego credit, and waive the towing and dumping fees?

After 18+ years and 234,000 kms, Roo1 was in far, FAR better condition than this, both inside and out ...

It can be saved!

The ashtray was jam packed with tissues all hooped up with what I really hope were boogers and I had to disassemble it to get them out. In the 45 min it took me to get out the molten boiled lollies and crap I found some o the screws missing from the interior trim. Well worth the effort though I think.
