project hidden subaru hehe

Got it lifted 4", need good looking AT's though. Got it camoed and lighted, need to adjust the lights though. Now for the hard stuff, making bumpers for winches, spare tire holder, and engine/tranny upgrade. ill get there some day.

going to check out some other yards tomorrow and see what they have, if they don't have any better engines ill pull this 165k i found today. (EJ22)
then i need to find a shop for the flywheel or drive shaft depending on if i keep the current tranny or not. so with the harness im off to a slow start but ive started non the less LOL.
 
now for exhaust, i think im just going to pull the parts right off the heads and run 2 flex pipe with in line mufflers like glass pack, and end up with duel exhaust just to make that part real simple. unless anyone knows an even simpler way?
 
i really want to convert my rear drums to disk but i haven't seen a late 80's in any yard with them :( and no place sells the darn backing plate. haven't found a xt6 either so i cant convert to 5 lug, just cant catch a break.

engine swap hit a snag will have to swap trans too, due to the flywheel/torque converter no shop wants to re-drill/balance it for safety reasons. so with the trans i will have to dig into the gear box and swap low gear, then the hole issue with the drive shaft to rear diff being to long from the ea and to short from the ej. then to the axle issue i might get away with swapping CV joints and keep my 6 lug set up (darn 23 / 25 spline differences) luckily i haven't gotten to far but this looking like it will cost more then its really worth. if i could drive a stick again this would be simpler. stupid auto's if i didn't need it id go manual in a heartbeat.

i just want my "blind" with wheels (lol) to have more umph is that so much to ask, there is away around these issues i just haven't found it yet.

This is one.bad.donkey.subaru .hs forgot to mention his car has a.button on bat cave.this.camo ride looks even better in person. esp on the top of webster.pass wen the drivers.of jeeps an trucks look.at our subis funny .
