Looks like you are haveing a great time Silver. Enjoy!
Getting trapped in the Gorge was, in fact, really enjoyable.I had company and we all looked at the situation as a good experience.
I am staying here at the caravan park for another 5 days and then make my way up the 'back road' to Innisfail or more correctly to Silkwood. I want to catch another Jungle Perch and THIS time get a photo of it.
I spent yesterday cleaning up/washing/getting organised again but today is free to look around.
BUY sapphires????? I thought you would just walk around and pick the things up!!
If you are coming over...got any gear to get rich???
A couple of fellows yesterday were up in the camp kitchen with the biggest red claw yabbies i have ever seen. They were like baby lobsters. I had no idea they grew that big. You would have only needed 2 for a good meal.
They are some good size Flattie's you caught there mate :ebiggrin:I've been in Silkwood for about a week and have been fishing a bit. I've done fairly well and got my biggest Flattie on plastics at a spot on the Johnson River. A 70cm one plus a another about 60cm and quite a few smaller ones.
