Bunyip SP, 28/4/12

Is Ruby Scoo finished yet? If I'd known I would've texted you...

No, not yet - check out my journal for the latest update (now that I've actually done one!). This week I'm hoping to go for a drive, might crack right into it and have a go at climbing the top end of Stumpy's track out behind Mum and Dad's joint

I dont know who Annie is/was, but let me tell you, she gets around and she aint gentle!!!:discomonkey:

Sounds ominous!

We'll see about the next trip, cash is always the issue, plus I'm hoping to meet up with the Queensland crew that are visiting the High country mid may - I'm not 100% sure if I'll pull it off but I'm going to try my best to be there!

Cheers

Bennie

I'd give that a shot. I would probably go to the left or far right to tackle it
Yes thats the line we took :iconwink:

Hugged it to the right on the way up & stayed way left on the way down :)

As for this "Annie" I would like to find out a little more (history wise) about them & who she was etc, etc :)

Regards
Mr Turbo

I am definitely keen to have another go, after some repairs.

The rocks at Gentle Annie are not too bad, as NL said, slow and easy, and you will slide over some of them. I first did this track years ago, pre lift kit, but each time the dirt moves around the rocks, and changes it all slightly.

Beigewagon.

Damage update: Damaged drive shaft. Replaced under warranty. $0
Bo Ya!

Awesome!

I wondered if there would be any damage. I couldnt see any grease in there and a lot sprayed around the engine bay.

Cant wait for you to get a lift and trim that rear skirt. Might have to do what we talked about and do a bulk buy for some Sumo lift kits :iconwink:

Great trip report Nachaluva!

It was a fantastic day, I had a ball. Can't wait to go back and give Gentle Annie a good hard nailing - but I think a whole day will need to be dedicated to that one track.

Also in response to thunder - yes I am running the 15 rims. The tires are 215/75/15.

Also we're going to have to make it back in time before track closures, which would be in just over a month I believe...
