Ok, the manual Subarus have a 50/50 split but how well do the 4EATs perform in the same test?

FWIW that generation of XT was only available in the U.S. with 4EAT, chances are we saw how the 4EAT performs in that test.

Here is a vid that shows the real issue with the Subaru AWD system. In mine this is overcome by applying some braking to break the diagonal slip.

I can confirm driving through the brakes really does work. You need more accelerator & then control the RPM with the brakes...

SOLUTION: Just remove the front right and left rear wheels and see how you go!
