The templates were part of the sale.... some 18 months ago I was seriously pushing SubaXtreme to make the rear bars (in particular for my Outback) - even to the point of paying them a visit.

After much sorting through shelves etc they found some templates but had no real idea how they went together!!! I had a look and sorted it out to a workable format, they looked at my car on the hoist etc... and.... and.....

I had supposedly set Steven a challenge and he figured they'd have to make one to try - even then they were talking $3k... They made one that I know of (fitted to a members car after he offered it as a mule...) and to date they still say on their website "special order".

I gave up... even after getting around 10 expressions of interest from members on the old forum thay were ho-hum in their responses.

Hey Beigewagon, have you found the pics of the build of your rear bar? Would also be interested to see details of your hinge mechanisms. for each of the swing arms.

Was thinking that your plans might be a good place to start on my design for a 'hitch mounted' wheel and water carrier for my 05MY OB.:)
