Thinking of getting this...opinions??

I checked with RACQ this morning about a pre-purchase check and these can cost up to $300 depending on what they do.
They don't do a REVS or write off check so that would be extra, but they DO check the condition of the interior but i kindly added that i think i could handle that part by myself.:lol:
By the way, the REVS and write off thingy is going national at the end of the month. I did not really read the details but i think they are all getting put into the one thing on a national basis.
I am just going to leave it to the Subie fellow. I will go back and have another chat with him to make sure i am happy with him and call in every month or so and see how it goes. If i have to pay a bit more that's cool.
 
Often with the pickles cars the company owning them have the car written down to a price for tax purposes and don't want to make a profit which is why they are generally sold at wholesale prices, also Pickles have nothing to hide as these vehicles are just being passed on for the lease or finance company so pretty safe to purchase from, a mate bought a fixed price car from them and they even knocked money off of it.

They don't have room to store cars to wait and make a bigger profit like a yard as they also work on a fixed fee or percentage so it's in their best interest to see it out the door asap, but the car will usually be auctioned too so you could turn up and pick it up for 18k on the day, who knows ya luck.

This is not just important from a heat perspective.

"Bush pinstripes" are much less noticeable on white, silver, 'champaign', etc than on darker colours. :lildevil:

Not only that, the darker the colour, the harder it is to keep clean aswell :cool:

Actually, to be honest, I've got that many now I've lost count :p
Anytime I go out adventuring now & get another one, I tend to just say, "there's another one to add to the collection" :lol: :twisted:
