There is a similar thread on 'MySwag.Org' (camper trailer forum) which is fairly popular, so I thought I'd start one here.
I work as a strategic planner in local government,
Originally a secondary school teacher, I subsequently worked in the building industry for a while as a labourer, before re-training as a planner after a stint as a local government Councillor.

When it comes to work I've done a bit of everything :)
My first job was in retail selling shoes (think Al Bundy ) I eventually left that & had a stint at selling used cars instead for a while :eviltoyou:
I know, I know, everyone hates a used car salesman :mob:
It did have its funny side & raised a few eyebrows though, especially when I put my "P" plates on & took them for a test drive

I've also driven for a living too, as a courier. That industry really keeps you on your toes, aswell as teaching you how to drive, thats for sure

I am currently working in the manufacturing industry (close to 20yrs) & although it has it's up's & downs, it does pay the bills, plus I'm fairly happy there :)

It is funny how things pan out I must say. Having a great love of animals, I always wanted & though I'd become a Vet, but it never happened

Regards
Mr Turbo

If you love animals, don't become a vet.
I have a vet friend who quit because she couldn't handle putting animals down day after day.

I specialise in lightning protection, surge protection and to a lesser extent commercial UPS

I work at a private schol in IT(computers) and help manage the network. Leaving in 2 weeks though to move to Perth for university(IT and specializing in Networking and Security).

That's ironic. Tomorrow/Wednesday I'll be in the ACT going out on site at a couple of construction sites.

Almost everything, at one time or another ...

My point-form CV runs to about 17 pages.

Oh well. Lots ... :lildevil:.

I don't. I get my wife to do that and I spend it. nice life driving anywhere and everywhere in my Forrie.

After highschool & during my few years at Texas A&M, i worked at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse working in sales of power equiptment.

Then moved out to central Texas & worked as a Sales Rep / Designer for a custom building company for about 3yrs drawing up plans on anything from storage buildings, to garages, to custom cabins. Def. taught me alot about the building industry.

Now i'm an Insurance Agent working with my father-in-law. We run a small agency (just us two  ), specializing in Life & Health Insurance, Annuities, Retirement Planning, Business Liability Insurance, etc.... We started doing the home & auto, but realized real quick that was a waste of time. No sense in trying to compete with the big guys in a price-point market. Although some days i would like to strangle him, i am grateful i'm able to have such a flexible job, pay the bills, & finally have some left over to put back. It was tough for a while! It's also going to allow us to keep doing what i'm doing with no effect, when we move this august to Colorado. If i can work from anywhere, might as well do it in a place i like!

Health IT Management - Patient Management Systems development

Several job's at car leasing/rental firms but for 1 year now a car auctioneer at BCA Holland

Don't forget to add this to your resume if it applies to you
