New Years Eve

Maybe we can help with lotto numbers?

Do you guys in the US (& elsewhere) get public holidays not on the day they were for? Like New Years Day is on a Sunday so we get the holiday on Monday. Always thought that was funny...

Not as funny as the Kiwis though...according to my calendar they have "Day After New Years Day"??? :rotfl:

Yeah, most do. Unless you work for an :censored: that pretty much tells you tuffsh**. For Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years, we make sure we get 3-4days off ;) . People that work retail really get the shaft around the holidays though. The only days of the year most retailers are closed is Thanksgiving & Christmas. That's even going away though as retailers are opening earlier and earlier every year for "black friday". a couple years ago it was 4 or 5am the day after thanksgiving, then it was midnight the following, then this year businesses were actually opening up Thanksgiving day in the afternoon for sales.

People don't even realize they are killing their own holidays & time off by joining the madness to just save a buck...
