I've contacted them in the past. Pretty sure they have ones that will fit an SF Forester

I emailed Shane at Paranoid - if he advertised a bit more for Foresters he make a hell of a lot of sales.

 I'll tell him that my mate d_generate just ordered some stuff so he better help me out  and let me know which ones suit my SF Forester.

Yeah tell him what you like, good little shop he has there, maybe you could do a group buy and there would be a pretty big market for L series & Brumby/Brat's also.

Paranoid asked me to email measurements of my strut bold spacings, so I sent these, measured centre to centre , front then rear.

REAR:

Here is Paranoid's response to my pics:
"So according to those measurements you want the front 02-07 impreza spacers and rear look like 02-03 rear impreza spacers. "

I'm not 100% certain that is right, and "looks like" sounds vague. So I compared the spacer shapes with Subtle's spacers.

This looks OK by just comparing the shape.

But I think Paranoid's rear recommended spacer is the issue...

Yet Subtle sell this shaped rear spacer:

If anyone has bought these from Paranoid before feel free to chip in and shed some light.

Looks like Subtle have made an area for the lip on the top hat to sit into but comparing the bolt hole to the inner edge I'd say his would fit without a problem, I've got a mate with alloy ones cut to the same shape as his on the rear, they have been there for years and they are fine.

I've sent em an email too lol.

Shape isnt such an issue, the lip on the alloy subtle solutions spacer is nice but i'm sure would be fine without it. The only vital thing for me is the bolt spacings...

Nice one Nachaluva!
The more requests Paranoid gets the more he'll realise it's worth his while to list Foresters on his web site.

BTW - Which Foz have you got? You should stick it in your signature. Quick links - Edit Signature.

I have an SG and contacted paranoid asking about fitment of their spacers as well.

He came back and said they would fit but I would need to check my bolt spacing,

People talk about swapping SG struts to SF so im assuming the dimensions should be same as already given by Gazoola?

I could check myself but thought i would try the lazy check first..

My 1" fronts arrived about a week ago, they look great and have a nut embedded in them to hold the bolt in place, hopefully get around to fitting them soon.

Just to reawaken this thread and to prevent people from paying to much for their lifts, I have just ordered a pair of 1" lift spacers for my rear struts from Paranoid (US$55 for spacers + US$25 for postage to Australia). Total = $88 Australian dollars.

On their website I just clicked on 'Forester' products which brought up just the one product - the Subaru Impreza 04-07 HDPE Rear Spacer.

I emailed Shane to confirm this would fit my 98-02 SF5. To my knowledge the only thing different to the Subtle stainless spacers is the lack of the lip for the top hat. The bolt spacings should be OK (I hope and assume).

I'll keep y'all posted on developments. I hope the install is straightforward because I will want them on the car asap after delivery. Of course, if anyone wants to offer some help or provide a garage with tools I will bring food, drinks & snacks and offer compliments galore.

Front strut top hats are the same for most of the Subie range (not sure about the last few years & I think the BRZ is different).

The SF Foz rear strut top hat has the same bolt pattern as the SG, the only difference is the centre hole in the spacer is larger on the SG, so what most places do is use the SG spacer for both which works fine.
So...in the rear, a SG spacer fits on an SF, but a SF spacer wont fit an SG

Thats a great price & heaps cheaper!

I picked up a set from him for my Outback a while ago. He also gave me a great deal on a case of 12 oil filters and crush washers. Shipped pretty quickly if I remember right, got here in 2 or 3 days I think.

Gidday NL

Do you reckon that being made of HDPE vs stainless steel would be a plus or a minus?

That is, do you think that being slightly "spongy" (the HDPE) would have a cushioning effect vs the SS, or is it better for this part to be extremely rigid (the SS)?

I know that HDPE is hardly soft, but compared with SS it is ...

And being fabricated from SS does make the lift blocks very much more expensive (to be expected).

I wouldnt bother with SS, Subtle blocks are 6051 Aluminium & thats fine. HDPE will be "softer" than that but I dont think by much. I think it would be fine for what you're wanting

Thanks, NL.

I suspect they would be too.

Certainly a helluva lot cheaper than either Subtle or Sumo blocks.

I have a set of these on my 07 impreza wagon. 1" rear and 3/4's front. I have them sandwiched in-between my 1" Subtle blocks.

As far as i recall, the Paranoid didn't need that lip because the inside hole is larger. They fit well. Id buy them again if lift another subie.
