Dual Batteries

What is the advantage of the Matson controllers?
 
I went for Matson again as the unit in the Foz has never let me down. After 7 years of being wet / muddy / dusty / freezing cold / stinking hot and has survived heaps of outback corrugations, I reckon it's a pretty good unit. Also pleased that I could get a model with the switching capability.
