Thanks DirtyRU, yeah I was abit suprised by the horse just out there too. There was 2 of them and they were just wondering around near the edge of the road or on the road. Im guessing they are strays..

One thing I forgot to add about the trip was when we pulled into Yardie Creek campsite we saw this guy with an L-Series sportswagon and had a kayak on the roof aswell as a HUGE caravan.
Now that must have been a sight to see for sure
Did you get a pic of it at all, with it all loaded up ?

Regards

Looks like a great trip Taz.....Boyz in Blue hit Ningaloo..... I've got a small motorbike battery which weighs next to nothing and takes up no room but has plenty of grunt to jump the car just in case.

Haha was definitely interesting. We named him L-series man and over the trip invented the story of his life.

Was very funny.

FYI planning my next trip already
That gives me an idea for the name of the next & upcoming trip.
Perhaps it could be called "Searching for L-Series man via Ningaloo Reef Trip" :rolleyessarcastic:
Sorry mate, couldn't resist that one :)

Looks like a great trip you guys undertook. Some incredible scenery out there!

That corrugated road you took a pic of looks like hell though, haha...

HI Taza

have not been on the forums much - very busy at home. I am very jealous. I have many happy memories of Coral bay and Exmouth but I must admit I have never been to Yardie Creek. Glad to see your Foz is still holding up. I used mine to tow a caravan down to Pemberton. It struggled a bit especially on the hills but we made it ok.

Done this same trip soooo many times ;) Always a goldie. Heading up again in a few weeks.

Did you check out Gnaraloo? One of the best fishing spots around. Troll a popper behind your tiny just out of the bay and enjoy your spanish mackeral and tuna battles.

Awesome trip! Funnily enough - that same bit of trim fell off my car on the Oodnadatta Track.

It clipped straight back on though.....looked like it started coming loose again recently and I just bashed it back in.......so far so good!
