Does your car have a name? What's it called?

My 05 Outback colour is champaign, so the car was christened Champaign Charlie, usually just shortened to Charlie. Anyone under ~ 100 myears of age mightn't get the logic of the name.

Don't worry, Djulpan is in good hands. She's retained her name ;). From a proud new owner

That made me smile. I hope she is well, and hasn't cause you any problems. Hope to see you out and about one day.

hey mods: can I change my forum name to Dulagarl?

Apart from a squeaky fan-belt, no-problems. The engine light thing came...and went. Took her on a maiden voyage to Temora and got to see what the driving lights were capable of!

That squeak has been in the car since the flywheel was done in about 2005. Annoying, and I could never get rid of it.

The engine light is also a mystery: O2 sensors checked and replaced etc, but it comes and goes. Seems to be happier with premium unleaded.

Driving lights are nice though eh? and I bet you appreciated the cruise control!

Yeah, driving lights are good, but I reckon I'll do the headlight upgrade next service.

Is this because it's a dual mass flywheel and not a solid unit?

Cheers

I put the Phillips Xtreme vision +80's in mine and they work a treat.

Also my engine warning comes on and then goes off, it started in Tasmania in March and at this stage i think its the C02 censor or a false negative. Am going to be running a scan gauge in the car soon so i will be able to detect if its a false negative and reset it.

03 foz named dori. like the fish from finding nemo, on account of shes the same color haha.

haha great name lol. Really suits the car

I originally called my Foz "Oswald" as the 1st 3 letters in the number plate are OSW, but i have since realised she is a girl...oops! So now she is Oswina lol. Ozzie for short

& today I gave Oswina a wash after weeks of :poke: from various people after the last bog hole ridden trip...she told me she feels much better ;)

It has been with me since new, in 1985; Lots of Upgrades have been made since then, including Disc brakes all corners, Bumper & Suspension reinforcements, etc... and that's a Neverending thing, somehow. :iconwink:

In english, french... etc, a "Car" is a Female Word, while in Spanish, "Carro" (Car) is a Male Word.

It is a Great Honor to be Here in this Great Forum, I hope soon I'll have more time to Post Pics & Vids of my BumbleBeast off-Roading.

Kind Regards.
