PICTURE POST: your favorite off-road shot!

Great pics scooby :)

The 3 wheel action in the first is a beauty

But I think I like the last one the best :iconwink: Just magic, the colours really make it :raz:

I love to take my subaru offraod, but not on trails to do damage to the car.

Top pics Lino :raz:

The ruts in the first pic looks like a real challenge. Good wheel placement being a must in that one, thats for sure

Considering how light it looks like, it's guess it's more like a lightbar than a nudgebar... just without lights (yet!?!? :p )

I made the bar myself with stainless sanitary piping, 1.5 inch purge welded, I did not want lights it's mainly to keep my bumper from going into the dirt.
I also made the skid plate out of 1/4 aluminum.

HAHA! How in the hell did you manage to get those big donkey logs up!? Nice work to say the least :monkeydance:
On another note, did you guys just go out into the forest to do a grab and run, or did you have to get a permit from the Forest Service. If that's the case, how much was it? We have our cast iron chiminea here that i light up about every other night. Wish our house had a fire place / wood burning stove like the home we had originally leased down there, before switching gears to up here. I was pretty surprised to find that the stoves/fireplaces aren't near as common as they are down there.

That looks like a decent water crossing Shiv :)
Looks & sounds like you are really enjoying the snow dirtyRU :)

I wouldn't be too worried about getting them in, it's the getting them out that I be more worried about :raspberry:

I bet you noticed the weight when driving those things Blue Fox :iconwink:

I also noticed there was another Forry (silver) in the background too.

Yeah, you need a permit to chop firewood (and they give you a map of the areas you are allowed to cut wood, except for standing Ponderosa Pine up here. Most local hardware stores sell the permits by cord. $8 per cord. A cord of wood is about 4x4x8. Total this year, we cut about 4 cords of wood.

If you don't have a permit, and you're stopped, it's a HUGE fine and possible jail time up here in Colorado. You even have to display the permit on the load you are trailering back.

Yep, that's my roommates (he's about as nuts for Fozzies as I am). He's Slim Jim over on SF.org. He got the hail-damaged gold 05 XT that was up on the boards a couple of months ago before he moved up here. He owns the trailer, and has a hitch, so his car gets to be the mule to haul it all down the mountain, and mine is the mule to haul it out of the forest where the trailer won't fit.
