I have an 01 Outback and would like to know if any one has fitted this size tyre to a stock standard OB no lifts or will it foul with suspension towers or anything like that.

they will fit the gen 3 with some rub at full lock. you will have to cut/grind back a small bit of your bumper guard at the back of the wheel.I have an 01 Outback and would like to know if any one has fitted this size tyre to a stock standard OB no lifts or will it foul with suspension towers or anything like that.
how do you tell which generation Subaru ob you have
I'm running 205/75R15's on my '99, I do have the 1" subtle lift but don't see any reason why they wouldn't fit without it.While this topic is here it saves me starting another one similar.
Does anyone know if the 215/75R15 will fit without rubbing and without lifting my Forester? also how about 225/70R15?
The standard size is 205/70R15. Im looking at the 215/75R15 if possible.
I am planning on lifting it but tires will becoming before that and if I can get a bigger size to begin with then that would be good.

65's is my choice.
they're on they fit they're awsome no probs with spring perches:ebiggrin: or any rubbing
Would they fit without any bumper modifications?
I was about to post a new thread regarding this size tyre, 215/70/16, as, all going well, my mate and me should be off in early Oct down to Sth Oz and across the bottom and then up the west coast.
The best size i can come up with in Bridgestone 694's is the above size and i was not sure if they would be OK. I have about a 1" lift and will be ordering some Rally Armour mud flaps this week. Mines an 05 Forester and it appears from this thread all will be OK.
^^ Ok thanks
I know people who have 215/75R15's on Foresters but they have a lift. So the lift might have to come before the tires.
