Forester with roof rack and lights

thanks,
Yes, my roof rack is very big and strong. It's perfect to my job (Plomber)
and I want to put a roof tents and go in treck.

My tires are very effective in mud terrain and fresh snow. But too agressive in sand...

NICE. I have a Rolla roof basket as well. I originally had two lamps mounted up on it, but since I use the sunroof a lot, the extra wind noise from the lamps proved to be too much, so I took them off.

Looking good

basket and lights

I decided to go with the Thule extended basket with 4 Thule crossbars and a few KC lights. Any idea how much the basket can really hold? Ive had over 500 pounds in/attached to the basket without any problems driving 80 mph for over 14 hours. I know they aren't rated anywhere near that much, but has anyone actually had problems?

Why not do both
Thats not a bad idea actually :)
Does the basket live on your roof all the time ? If it does, then I'd do both :iconwink:

Lights

Basket does live on the roof all the time, if the lights are mounted on the roof basket what's the best way to run the wires.
