Camp set up

Here is my subaru.. getting ready for the trip!

Know what you mean about the elk waking you. I was out in the woods one cold night and had a sika (close relative of the elk) start bugling around midnight. Sucker kept me up the rest of the night. :furious:
 
Just over 2 months late...

But better late then never right?

Flynet for the rear hatch. The black rods holding it out are kite carbon rods. It has elastic sewn in all around it and 7 velcro tabs to hold it in place.

The pillow extension for the 1700mm long mattress (I'm 182cm). Made from ocy strap ends and some thick elastic cord.

$12 worth of eBay LED lighting. And about 1 and a half days wiring it all up with switches along with a constant on lighter socket in the back.

notice my excellent fire positioning with the smoke regularly drifting through the car and tent (be thorough when checking prevailing winds :lol:)

this is my set up 3 or 2 man tent if Im on my own, I carry both

also set up 3 ? metre square mesh tent , currently sporting a gaping hole

coffe , sausages and last nights left over stew , perfect breakfast :cool:

next on my want list is a roll up table
