Did anyone see Top Gear last night ?

Yay! I'd say be there at 7.00 to set sail at 7.30... I looked on google, and couldn't find any instant quotes for car shipping. Shame really, cos I was curious to see what the costs are.

Regards,

Joel

Thats ok, I'll get us over there & you can share the driving with me. It'll be a good test for the snorkel on my Forry. :raspberry:

Sounds like a plan! I'll have to put a snorkel on mine so I can take mine too. I don't want to drown it like they did the rangie and sierra.

i was frustrated with them getting it off the barge. They could have pulled the barge into the shore really easily by tying the ropes to a tree and the other end to a car on the barge, bung the car in low range reverse and it'd pull the barge into the shore. anyway. tis good watching

Yeah the landcruiser rolling was a set up for sure, but I don't blame them, who in their right mind would try and drive down that dune with no gearbox and 2 wheel drive.

I loved the show, I've travelled to most of the spots they went to and completely believe the altitude sickness part, it really does knock you around.

And Death road really is as scary as it looks.
