Mr Turbo,

Do you have similar links on the front as well?

If not, is their any adverse effect of having different length connectors front and rear?

Am trying to work out if I should also fit similar links to the front.

No mate, just changed the rear, the front links are still OEM. So far I have had no adverse effects at all. :)

The only reason I changed the rears was because I bent one of them big time. :surprised:
When I went to change them, they didn't have the OEM ones in stock & I had to order them in. :shake:
Because I didn't want to wait, I decided to get the longer ones instead. :iconwink:

great info , i have been torn between wanting to improve the onroad handling of my 10 without affecting the offroad ability, this stuff is gold thanks!!

will see if i can use

The angle of the lower control arm that the end link mounts to changes dramatically with more lift. I think it would be best to modify the mount to align if combining this mod with 50mm+ lift. I've seen the bushes flogged out in 5000km.

Jack up the back of your car and have a look.

I had extended end links fitted to the rear sway bar last week after fitting the lift kit. I'll try and post up a photo later.

Well after reading this thread and others on the topic, it would seem this is a great bang for buck mod.

I'm not much of a mechanic - I can't work out if I need extended length sway bars or not. I have 1 inch lift with the HD kings and would like to add 1 inch subtle solution blocks also.

Would I be ok with the sway bars in the original post?

Thats for a strut bar not a swaybar but maybe you could make it work with the older type links.

Sorry i can't find the receipt anywhere for the extended end links, I'm pretty sure they are whiteline though
