16" on my 08 XT

Will 16s fit where I currently have 17s ? Looking at the calipers it seems they should. I run the stock Yoko Geosqueelers but am fitting Kuhmo KU31s on spare WRX alloys today. I plan to store the standard wheels and Geos and get some cheap 16s to run more aggressive tyres over winter..then back to the KU31s for Spring and Summer.

They should fit, but check the offset on the WRX rims. I think they are different to the Forester rims (can't remember whether they sit further in or further out). You may either rub on full lock, or hit the guard when compressed.

Offset is 45 as opposed to 48. They fit...well with track tyres on....200kmh uphill on the Nurburgring....new wheels won't get quite that fast as they'll mostly be used in bad weather and light offroading....
