Theres a rock in our backyard and this hollow in the rock.

it only dawned on my last week end that its perfect for a camp oven. So i gave it a whirl cooking a damper.

Anyone have any good damper recipes?

Looks successful.
Lemon pepper is good, lots of ground black pepper and as much as you like lemon rind. Can also use a mix of flour and beer. The possibilities are endless, limited only by your imagination.
I have also used sour milk or buttermilk as the liquid, gives a pleasant cheesy flavour.

I have made good bread in a camp oven but not sourdough which would be worth a try I think.
