I'll be there 8/2 around 11 am, if anyone wants to join me.
TrailDamage.com - Bunce School Road

I will call the Ranger Station on Friday and check road condition.

Or if anyone has another suggestion?

Coming from the south, take Highway 72 to Peaceful Valley and follow signs to Camp Dick. The trailhead is on the right just past the winter gates, going uphill before you get to the camp itself.

Here is a description:
The first part of the trail coming up from Camp Dick is steep and very rocky. We did not have any trouble here, but I doubt that some of the stock SUV's with minimal ground clearance would be able to get through without scraping their under carriage.

So I hope I can make it without damage :)

The trail is rated 3, but should be doable with plates and good tire placement. I wouldn't want to try anything over 4-5 in the wifey's OBW (if it was mine, that'd be a different story and you guys would be treated to much better action shots :raspberry:). Pole Hill is rated 3-4 on traildamage, but I think it was more like a 5 just because of the steep downhill section:

Btw, if she doesn't have to work, we're in :iconwink:
