Outback 2018 Centre entertainment console issues - [Replaced] - Solved

Hi, recently upgraded the maps in the Outback, and a few weeks later have started to have issues. First the map would play up and display RESUME, even though we were not using the mapping to guide us. You press resume and it would go back to normal then go through the same routine. Now we are having another issue. It would freeze or close down to the icons. Cannot use the icons and also the soft touch buttons each side of the screen. Turning off engine and then restarting it clears it, until next time. Has anyone else had this issue?

Well I had the infotainment console replaced. It went bad quickly with the screen delaminating. So, I took it to Eblen Subaru in SA. They organized for Subaru to cover the replacement cost and all I paid was the installment cost of $70. Pretty happy with that.
