We were at Cobar last night, western track to Menindee Lakes, then Broken Hill for the next two nights.

Roo2 is apparently averaging around 10L/100 Kms. Not bad, as mostly sitting on ~120 kmh, and a lot on dirt roads.

Nothing has broken yet, 5,401 Kms to date.

Except for the clutch pedal rubber coming apart! Fixed it temporarily with some fibre masking tape given to me by the chaps who re-rendered our house. Geez, this stuff is tough! Will get a s/h one when we get back to Melbourne in a few days.

Here is a movie taken at Mundi Mundi lookout, about 5 Kms past Silverton, near Broken Hill.

Sorry, "File type not allowed" ...

Will post some photos later.

↑ saw that, looked at the art gallery instead ... ;) .

There was also some sort of car gathering at Silverton.

Home again.

6,727 Kms, zero oil or water use. No tyre damage, even though a few hundred Kms of nasty gibber roads with really savage corrugations.

Haven't worked out the total fuel use, but around 10L/100 Kms for fully loaded car, and relatively high speeds. Quite a lot of passing B-doubles, and the like, at quite high speeds. Also a fair amount of crawling in low range.

Roo2 behaved immaculately for the whole trip.
He needs a wash ... ;) .

They love it and will lap up trips like this all the time without any issues!
