Hi brains trusts,

I am looking at upgrading my suspension - fitting BH Outback struts to my BH Liberty that has a SLO 1 1/2" rear & 1" front lift kit. Main reason is I have bigger tyres that do not allow enough clearance to the spring cup to run my chains where as BH OB ones will.

I have had a suggestion to install a set of Coil Over type suspension on front and back. I didnt know about this style of suspsension and it is height adjustable. Most of the info I have looked at is the use of Coil over on race or lowered street racers. No spring cup so tyre clearance potentially restored.

My question is, is it any good for lifting a vehichle? It may also aleviate having to have lift spacers and enable variable lift (within the limits of CVs etc).

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Still very happy with the HotBits ! Had to remove them to pass TMR and am now on Dobinson springs with front SG and rear Outback BG struts. I can't "fly" over the road bumps anymore and the ride is harsher. Will install the HotBits back very soon....!
