I had this too. An exhaust shop put a spacer between the main pipe after the Y split, where it connects to each rear muffler section. Because of the angle, that made for enough clearance over the rear subframe.

Also, if you've just done a 50mm lift, you'll need longer front sway bar end links - I just found that out after trying to figure out why my sway bar was inverted!

Thanks for your reply so do you mean I can use the original exhaust pipe and just put 2 spacers After the Y pipe to the mufflers? Sorry for my ignorance is it possible you could take a photo from underneath to show what you’ve got or draw diagram?

Yep, you've got it. I don't have the car with me, but I do have a photo of one of the spacers in place. The extra space pushed the main pipe down and under the subframe.tmp_99d8cc75-6842-477d-9fc0-45a21f4a1f99.jpeg

Hi thanks for the info, can you tell me how big your spaces were please

By the way that is a brilliant solution, the other option was going through the subframe and I’m not gonna be hard-core four-wheel driving, just getting off the beaten track a little for camping and bushwalking id be pretty unlucky to damage the exhaust, thanks again

At a guess it looks about 8mm? thanks again
