Hi All, I see some comments re my Qn. but some are a bit dated, so hoping for more recent experiences.

I need to replace the Bridgestone 697 AT on my lifted Liberty. The B'stones have been pretty good on and off Rd, but have often had times where I would have liked / needed a bit more grip off rd. on slipery tracks and steep wet grass.
My driving is 90% tar 10% moderate off road- (bush tracks, farm paddocks which can be soft and wet slippery grass). This tyre size is the max I can go at the moment though need to get Outback rims with better offset.
My research and what I've seen:

* BF Goodrich K02. Look aggressive and I hope meets my needs for more grip on wet loose dirt / wet grass grip. Have read they may not be so good on rd wet conditions, but Im not racing around the place. https://www.bfgoodrich.com.au/auto/tyres/all-terrain-t-a-ko2?tyreSize=16
* Current B'ston 697s .https://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyres/au/bridgestone/dueler/a_t_697#available-sizes_rimdiameter=15 - have worked well, 60k though not as grippy as I would like in some off rd situations.
* Yokki Geolander AT GO15- https://www.yokohamatire.com/tires/geolandar-a-t-g015. only just seen seen reference to these , though have noticed them on bigger 4WDs. Seem about similar to the Bridgies re pattern.
* Cooper? AT3 XLT/LT, ST Max https://www.coopertires.com.au/our-range/4x4-tyres/st-maxx

OR are the likes of BFG K02 just overkill and will be too much of a compromise on road (i.e. too noisy, too heavy)?

A lot or reviews on any of these refer to the bigger sizes so I'm not sure they are applicable i.e. over 225.
Keen on FIRST HAND experiences (at worst from your mates) not just what you heard or read elsewhere.

Looking to do this ASAP, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks team
Paul S.

I ran BFG ATs for many years and never felt they had any issues in the wet unitl they got quite old and hard. However with that said, the Yoko GO15s I have now are brilliant in the wet as are the X-AT GO16s I put on the Triton. For example, I used to slide the 2nd spare (BFG Muddies) for the Triton up an extension ladder to get it on the roof - the GO16 won't slide, even downwards, they are so sticky.
