Forester PCV Valve full of oil

Hey everyone,

Went to check my PCV valve and it's chock a block full of oil and carbon and not rattling well.
I have a spare from a FB which I can put in till I get the part, should I be concerned about all the oil getting into the PCV valve?

I'm guessing it just because it was clogged. I pulled my PCV years ago; gave it a good rinse and stuck it back in. Probably about time I checked it again

Thanks Kevin! I reckon a bit of brake cleaner should clean it up
Do you put anything on the threads when you reinstall to keep it airtight?
