I installed the Baintech 110ah lithium battery with built in dc-dc charger. It took a bit of stuffing around to hook it up to the starter battery, and there was not a lot of information that I could find on the Web about how to exactly hook it up.

I've eventually got it set up and charging from starter/alternator while driving but I needed to tap into the ignition as my forester has a smart alternator. But I tapped into the wrong fuse so it stays on the whole time and I need to manually unplug when I stop the car. I plugged it I to the seat heater fuse.

Only other issue is that now my solar blanket keeps blowing its fuse before the solar charge regulator. Not sure if it's related to the lithium battery or the solar blanket got too hot.

Ill post some photos when I'm back from touring.
