Craig "NoShoes" recent addition attracted my interest to these recovery points and rather than foul up his journal I created a new thread.

They look a little low to me and could cause approach angle issues. The blunt ends also worry me; I would not like to smack head-on into a rock ledge 😱
You may also notice the sump guard has been lowered to cater for the recovery point cross member. It looks to be very well made as with most Sx products but I have some concerns

On this bar, cut through the front, then attach recovery points through to the roo bar mounting points to the steel bar that attaches across the front of the lower subframe.

These are attached using 4x 5/8th inch, high tensile steel bolts on each side. The bar's aluminium mouting plates are around 6-8mm thick, mounting to steel plates that are 4-5mm thick.

Breaking any of this would be all but impossible!

It may well be possible to lift the entire vehicle off the ground by these points ...

Im sure they could be not so wide down and could go even to that custom front bull bar. I mean place so uncomfortable imagine if car sink downall to front bumper how you will reach those

My thoughts are that you put the equalizer strap/tow rope on before you get close to that situation. Bit like prepping the winch rope before takiing on stuff that requires a winch at short notice (or when the winch is likely to be underwater).
