Heard on the radio earlier today that the 2022 Outback has just smashed the ANCAP ratings to the extent that they're probably going to have to review and the safety ratings in Australia.
Haven't seen anything in print yet.

Here's an article relating to it, doesn't specifically mention that ANCAP will need to do anything.

"The 2022 Subaru Outback earned a five-star rating from ANCAP, with scores of 88 per cent for adult occupant protection, 91 per cent for child occupant protection, 84 per cent for vulnerable road user protection, and 96 per cent for safety assist.
The rating applies to all Outback variants sold in Australia."

Soon they will be basing safety ratings on how big the infotainment screen is ... o_O (n).

ANCAP appears to be doing some funny things lately!
