The other week, a work assignment took me to Arthur’s Pass, so I snuck in a backroad circuit of Lake Coleridge, taking in the Wilburforce and Harper Rivers, and a number of smaller lakes too. Fresh snow on the hills added value to the scenery...

Actually, you probably wouldn’t mind our late autumn temperatures - this year, at least... late May and we’re still getting low 20s. A warm winter forecast. Last thing the skifield operators wanted to hear on top of Covid. A bit scary really.
