Had to drive up to Cape Tribulation today for work. Thought I'd take the SVX for a bit of a run, about 250km round trip.
On the way back I found a friend!

Roo bar and sweet low profile roofracks
all in all a very nice looking 1990 L Series.
The SVX performed flawlessly of course. Damn fine car to drive if you like old cruisers.
Edit #452: I would love to get behind the wheel of one of the all wheel steering SVXs. There's a couple of those here in Australia, would be an experience!
Probably be similar to the 4WS Galant I had the chance to drive in '93: Girlfriend at the time was daughter of the director of manufacturing at Mitsubishi. Also got to drive one of the very first Evos in Australia - Pre Evo release in fact. It had to be destroyed once they'd evaluated it, not allowed to be sold.
