The front passenger window on my 2017 won't open/close from the driver's side but still works with the switch on the passenger side, except that it doesn't auto open/close. So I'm not sure which side the problem is on. Any thoughts/suggestions before I start pulling doors apart?

Just had some window issues with my SVX, the car sparky stated that you always start at the drivers door. as that controls the power to all the other doors. As the switch on the passenger side is still working, there's nothing wrong on the passenger side, and there's still power flowing. so it's the switch on driver's side that needs attention.

Was the passenger window automatic in the past? My subarus have only have auto on the drivers side, but they're old...

Agree to start with the driver side switch - just be careful to not pull all the wires off the switch when dismantling!

Thanks for the help. The passenger window (2017) was automatic, which makes me thing the auto up/down function is from the driver's side switch.
