Driverless cars ...

Apparently one was in the front passenger seat and one in the rear.
Kind of weird, but that's humans for you.

for me its enough just cruise control. as i actually like to drive car, otherwise just take bus or taxi, train. some people though dont care about their cars, they just have them because they need them to drive them to places, so thats different. let them be with autopilot but let me still drive them if i need, then im fine.

Thanks for that, Peter.

Trust electric Jesus to claim that it was nothing to do with one of his saintly vehicles! Four hours and 30,000 gallons of water to put out the battery fire ... :puke: . Safety last ...
I seem to remember a similar problem for the firies when another crashed in Europe (?), it took them ages to kill the battery fire.
Found the link, Austrian Tesla Fire

This link is for the Tesla fires since 2013 https://www.autoblog.com/2018/05/11/a-list-of-tesla-car-fires-since-2013/

Li-Ion batteries contain their own oxidizing agents, so do not require air to continue burning.

GelIon batteries do not have this problem.

At first, I was surprised they allowed these driverless technologies in public when many tech companies abandoned them. Later, I realised, stocks...

There are just too many analogue factors to consider in the algorithm and many of those are difficult to limit to 1s and 0s. That's the problem with equating and digitising chances, you want to limit them to a yes or a no or a 1 or 0 but nature gives us infinity.
