Fit 29 inch tires?

Hey @Kevin! Just curious. Could you have fit 29 inch tires since they raised the spring perch? Wanted to see if 235/75/15 Falken Wildpeaks AT3W would fit. With .9 inches more, it seems tight, but doable if the spring perch is moved. Max I have seen was 235/70/15 without having to modify the fenders.

i think tires with rims would fit under those struts no prob with it can be some stuff in rear with full flex down or front full wheel turned. de[emds pn your lift and wheel spacers.

Nope, no way they would fit. It's already tight and I get rubbing if I use hard right full lock.

Would it be possible if you had some positive caster on the fronts and enough trailing arm spacers in the rear? You're running 225/70/15 right?

Its a good upgrade but could be more fragile off road.

Here in the States we see plenty of the steel control arms succumb to rust, which leaves me to believe the steel lcas are the weaker of the two arms.

In my shop I have witnessed plenty of bent/folded up steel arms, another reason why I swapped to the aluminum versions.

I can certainly understand the rust in areas using winter salt. Fortunately we have very little of that on our roads and, fingers crossed, my control arms are holding up just fine.
